Durga Puja isn’t simply a religious event, it’s Kolkata baring its soul. For five unforgettable days, colour, light and the aromas of kathi rolls and biryani fill the city’s streets, while stands stacked with sweets like sandesh and rosogolla appear on every corner. Our chefs offer you a menu of seven iconic Kolkata dishes (£29pp) to celebrate. Expect classic plates typically enjoyed at the food stalls of the festival, refined to suit our Soho setting.
